Ring in the New Year with Rosie Posie!

Can you believe 2014 is almost over?  Hopefully it has been a great year for all of you.  For those of you who would rather forget 2014 altogether, it's almost over!!!

Designer Rosie Posie created this lovely, sparkly tag with the Alex stamp.  I just love his glittered bow tie!  I love blues and browns together and this tag strikes the perfect balance!

This couple is ready for a glorious night on the town!

I hope you all stay safe this evening and I look forward to seeing all of you next year!

We love the Military men in our lives!!!

Meet Mark!

Arrives January 9, 2015!!!

We are starting the year out on a high note! 

We are releasing a military man stamp!!

 

I am super excited to release this stamp!

This military figure is as close as I can come to being representative of all the service branches combined.  I understand that it may not be EXACTLY like your uniformed guy, but hopefully you will love having him as part of your collection.  I wanted to add ranks, etc, but when I found out that there are more than 20 PER service, I realized that it just wasn't possible.

 

There are some things I want to explain about this stamp just for clarification.

 

Most of the uniforms I researched for the military branches all had similar aspects and that is what I incorporated into the stamp.  If you want to create a look that is as close to politically correct as possible, here are some helpful hints:
Put the Military branch name on the right side of the stamped figure, in the spot over the pocket.
Put the last name of your military guy on the left side of the stamped figure, in the spot over the pocket.
The flag that is included can be added to the left side of the stamped figure, on the arm, where the seam would be, just above the pocket.
As an added bonus, I have included an oversized geo tag.  You will notice that there are lines inside the tag.  We all know how the military men in our lives have been to multiple, multiple locations during their military careers.  Now you can plot the points where he has been AND add the date inside the geo tag!!  I just love this idea!!!
My husband retired from the Navy after 24 years and now I want to go create some layouts using this stamp and plot his travels around the globe with this cool geo tag, so our children will have it long after we are gone!  What a cool piece of history to leave for your family!!
Needless to say, I am VERY EXCITED about this stamp and I look forward to seeing many of your creations!!

A Real Boy! Card by Shannon Miller

I love Disney movies and I especially love this quote from Pinocchio!

I love Shannon's artsy style!!  This is such a fun card with all the textures!  The base of the card looks like it is cardboard and then she has peeled away some of the top layer to reveal some of that awesome texture below!  This is such an awesome technique that can be used in so many projects.  I hope you are inspired to try this technique on your next scrapbook page or tag or card!

Designer Rosie Posie draws her own girl dolls to fit her needs when crafting.  This tag is no exception!  I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus, after the popular classic Christmas song features the newest stamp, Kris and Rosie's own doll!

I love the way the couple is snuggled together.  A bit of evergreen underneath the heart and the tag says it all!  If you have a special Santa in your life, why not make him a special tag that shows how much you appreciate all he does at this time of year!

I love the creativity of our Designers!!  When I created the Drake stamp, I honestly could not have imagined that people would see Elvis in him!  But, through some bling on that jumpsuit and high neck collar and you have Elvis!!

This is the Elvis of Vegas!!  The starry background makes me think of the lights on the Vegas strip!

She used the Cowboy Dan stamp several times to show her love of cowboys.....and men!!  The card reminded me of line dancing in the country at a local barn!!  So many men to chose from as a partner!!

I think it's the perfect tag to get you in the mood for wrapping all those goodies you bought when you did your Black Friday Shopping!

This is soooo adorable!!  Michael is holding a present all wrapped up with a gold bow!  Looks to me like somebody's been nice!! 

 I love the entire composition of this tag.  The colors work beautifully together and none of the patterns overpower anything else.
